If you are a HR, D&I or OH Professional, business leader or senior team leader and would like to know more about how you can change the culture around mental health within your workplace, this free seminar may be of interest.
According to the BITC Report on Mental Health at Work, 30% of managers do not think that their workplace has any facilities or services that could help workplace mental health and wellbeing. This may suggest that employees are missing an opportunity to find early and expert support for mental health issues, which could reduce presenteeism, keep them in work or minimise any absence period.
Join us, during Mental Health Awareness Week, for a discussion on how workplaces are equipping their organisation to manage this better; understanding the rationale and responsibility for signposting, what resources might be available, both within and external to the workplace and the skills that have been introduced to ensure competence and confidence to signpost in a timely and appropriate manner.
In this session we are delighted to be joined by Emma Glen, Associate Director Programatic and Mental Health Ally at MediaCom, who will share suggestions and ideas from her organisation’s experience on how signposting has been critical to success, what has been most effective and most importantly how they have raised awareness and usage.
The briefing will be followed by a taster session of our Workplace Mental Health Framework. This is an introduction to our facilitated workshops which we deliver for individuals at all levels within an organisation to understand, manage and promote mental health. This session is suitable for individuals who are interested in finding out more about how to improve the way mental health is managed in their organisation. The session will finish at 12:00pm.
