In this three-week course from Mental Health at Work (in collaboration with the Mental Health Foundation), your employees will explore the critical aspects of psychological wellbeing. Each employee will learn about the effects of stress and burnout, and the legal considerations surrounding the duty of care, equipping everyone with the knowledge to foster an open and healthy work environment.

Understanding the Mental Health Continuum in the Workplace

Mental health is now viewed on a continuum, ranging from thriving to crisis. Movements along this continuum can influence our motivation and productivity.

During Week 1, employees will delve into the mental health continuum and the broader context of workplace mental health.

Examining Stress and Burnout at Work

Burnout manifests as mental, physical, and emotional exhaustion. Early intervention and effective stress management are crucial to prevent employees from reaching this stage.

Through real case studies, employees will learn how to identify and respond to signs of overwork in their colleagues.

Strategies for Creating a Psychologically Safe Hybrid Workplace

In hybrid work environments, it can be challenging to recognise when a colleague is struggling. Course leaders will introduce best practices for promoting psychological safety, with a focus on the unique pressures of hybrid work.

By the end of the course, employees will have the training needed to support their colleagues and make a positive impact on an individual level.
