Alexa has been a member of the Mental Health at Work Board since March 2023. Alexa joined the Mental Health Foundation in September 2022 as Director of Fundraising and Communications. Alexa is very passionate about good mental health for all and has lived experience of experiencing trauma. Alexa has a breadth of fundraising knowledge and works hard to develop fundraising propositions that build value for supporters to help fund the Mental Health Foundation’s work.

Before joining the Mental Health Foundation Alexa worked at Save the Children UK, where she had worked for 5 years in a variety of roles within Fundraising and Marketing, most recently as the Director of Fundraising Development. She also worked for 10 years at Cancer Research UK in a variety of fundraising and marketing roles including within corporate partnerships, events and community fundraising, and spent three years helping to build the Stand Up To Cancer campaign in partnership with Channel 4.

Outside of work, Alexa is Chair of Governors of a primary school in North London.
