Marie has worked for NHS organisations and the Pharmaceutical Industry in the UK and New Zealand, in roles which include Regional Sales, Transformation Project Manager and Learning & Development Training Manager. Marie’s career started in nursing, with a special interest in ‘parity of esteem’ focusing on long term conditions and mental health issues, beyond a diagnosis, to enable everyone to find the right support to enable them to live a full life. She has been also been involved in the NHS redesign of community mental health services Marie is a qualified business and wellbeing coach, an interest which arose from her experience in high-pressure environments and observing how this impacts health, wellbeing and performance. Marie joins MHAW with over 20 years of facilitation experience and enjoys creating an environment for open conversations and learning, whilst providing time for exploration and reflection. She enjoys supporting organisations to find ways to embed care and compassion into their values, so that mental health conversations at work become part of the culture.
